Karl Marx bol nielen ekonóm, ktorý posunul ekonomické myslenie tej doby o kus dopredu, ale bol aj filozof, sociológ a revolucionár. Nesnažil sa iba vysvetľovať spoločenské javy, ale aj napomáhať zmenám v spoločnosti.
Jeho teórie nadväzovali na niektoré Ricardove názory z čoho napríklad odvodil teóriu pracovnej hodnoty, pričom objavil zákon nadhodnoty. Pracovná sila dokáže vytvoriť vyššiu hodnotu, akú má sama. Rozdiel si privlastňuje kapitalista (akumulácia kapitálu). Rastie vykorisťovanie robotníkov, no na druhej strane zväčšovanie bohatstva malej spoločnosti, ktoré možno odstrániť sociálnou revolúciou.
Toto Marx považuje za základ vykorisťovania.
Na Marxove myšlienky nadväzovalo množstvo mysliteľov. Vzhľadom k jeho vplyvu i tí, ktorí s ním úplne nesúhlasili sa s ním vyrovnávajú kriticky. Medzi najväčších Marxovych kritikov patria Max Weber, Raymond Aron, Karl Raimund Popper a liberálni myslitelia.
Marx bol autorom diela Kapitál. Je to trojdielne dielo, v ktorom sa snaží odhaliť zákonitosti vývoja kapitalistickej spoločnosti.
Marx odmietal Sayovu teóriu trhu, podľa ktorej si výroba automaticky nájde odbyt. V kapitalizme je podľa neho ekonomicky rast násilne prerušený nie preto, že by sa vyrobilo príliš malo statkov, ale naopak, že veľa tovarov si nedokáže nájsť spotrebiteľa. Marx sa považuje aj za šíriteľa klasickej ekonómie.
Európske nariadenie GDPR sa týka nás všetkých
GDPR je nové nariadenie EP a Rady č. 2016/679 z 27. apríla 2016 o ochrane fyzických osôb pri spracúvaní osobných údajov a o voľnom pohybe týchto údajov. Na Slovensku vstúpilo do platnosti 25.5.2018. Nečakajte a nechajte si vypracovať GDPR od spoločnosti Safedata.sk, ktorá je jednotkou na trhu. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) výrazne posilní ochranu osobných údajov v EÚ a na Slovensku. Postupne sa zavádzalo do všetkých krajín EU. Za porušenie nových pravidiel EU zaviedlo až likvidačné pokuty.
